Op 26 september 1929 werden Andros en de New Providence-eilanden getroffen door wat nog altijd wordt beschouwd als de zwaarste orkaan in de geschiedenis van de Bahama’s. Het lied gaat over het schip de Pytoria, dat in het zicht van de haven vergaat.
